2009 Textbook Review Results

Aging must be part of required texts just as it must be embedded in social work curricula to prepare gerontologically competent social workers. A 2009 Textbook Review Project  identified progress since a 2004 analysis, as highlighted in an Executive Summary (PDF). 

The CSWE Gero-Ed Center is eager to assist textbook authors to sustain such gains.
