2009 Gero-Ed Film Festival

At CSWE's 2009 Annual Program Meeting (APM), the Gero-Ed Center presented our 4th annual Gero-Ed Film Festival. The festival featured 15 films on topics ranging from the sandwich generation, caregiving, GLBT issues and aging, and other topics related to social work practice and aging.

The 2009 Film Festival showcased The Way We Get By, a documentary that has won national and international awards. The two-minute trailer was screened at the Gero-Ed Track Kick-Off.

The Film Festival also highlighted films created by grantees of the CSWE Gero-Ed Center's Master's Advanced Curriculum project. For a full list of films and showtimes see our 2009 Film Festival flyer.
