This report and website contains information on global issues related to the prevalence, impact, and prevention of chronic diseases across the life span. Contains fact sheets, country-based information, technical papers on projections of morbidity, mortality, and impact of chronic diseases. Also has a short video (7 minutes) related to the myths of chronic diseases and their prevalence around the world. Excellent resource for faculty and students interested in global health issues to view chronic diseases among older persons in a larger context. May be useful to assign students to review the information and compare and contrast with what is known in the American context.
