The Opening Ceremony is where CSWE annually welcomes APM attendees and its leadership to discuss highlights of the conference. Recipients of the Significant Lifetime Achievement in Social Work Education and Distinguished Recent Contributions in Social Work Education awards are also recognized. As part of its initiative to be a greener organization, the Opening Ceremony program and the APM Final Program have been printed on paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
