2012 Annual Program Meeting

The 58th Annual Program Meeting offered the more than 2,600 attendees over 600 sessions that aimed to foster greater understanding on the value of social work in addressing complex social concerns.

Each of the presentations by the three plenary speakers served to promote the importance of investing resources to advance social work as a profession and as a science and to invite an examination of challenges and opportunities in growing high-quality social work education.

The APM also featured the new CSWE Film Festival, an expansion of the Gero-Ed Film Festival that broaden the scope of its annual film festival to reflect the many issues that social work educators must cover in their classrooms. Also more than 100 social work programs, publishers, associations, social service organizations, and other vendors exhibited their innovative products.
