This APM was the first with CSWE as an approved provider (# 1163) for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) Program.
The ACE provider status was an added benefit for CSWE members and APM attendees. Approximately 600 education sessions were eligible for CEUs at the 2008 APM, giving students and young social work practitioners and educators more career development opportunities.
More than 500 attendees selected the CEU option. The CEU Passport was sponsored by Rutgers University. This document was used to capture participant attendance and record CEUs obtained for the entire conference. CEU Passport holders will be issued certificates within 30 days of the conference.
