2009 Women's Council Networking Breakfast Highlights

Cosponsored by Boston College and Fordham University, the Annual Networking Breakfast (PDF) is hosted by the Council on the Role and Status of Women in Social Work Education (“the Women's Council”) and was held Sunday, November 8 at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio.

Feminist Scholarship Awards

2009 Feminist Scholarship Award WinnersThe breakfast brought diverse women and men together to network and honor feminist research through the presentation of the Annual Feminist Scholarship Award, offered in the name of an outstanding woman in social work education. This year’s Feminist Scholarship Award Honoree is Deborah Valentine and the Awardee is Susan Roll (pictured above). Read more about Deborah Valentine and Susan Roll.
 
 

Networking

Seated women discussing social welfare historyAt this year's breakfast attendees were seated by scholarship and/or research area to promote networking. Subjects included: social welfare history, human behavior and the social environment, and anti-racism/anti-oppression.




Mentor Recognition Program
