Betty Beck—Panelist
South Texas Veterans Health Care System
Betty Beck has been employed for 12 years at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System as a clinical social worker, field instructor, and social work student education coordinator. She received her MSW from Our Lady of the Lake University Worden School of Social Services in 1996. In 1994, she obtained a certificate in violence intervention and prevention from Our Lady of the Lake University and has volunteered since 1991 with the family assistance crisis team through the San Antonio Police Department. For 13 years, Beck has her LCSW and has been an active member of the Texas Society for Clinical Social Work and has held several board positions.
