Darrell Jordan—Panelist

Darrell Jordan was employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from 1982 to 1988. In his final position with the VA, he served as an assistant regional manager for readjustment counseling where he was responsible for the oversight of fifty-nine contract mental health providers who specialized in the treatment of posttraumatic disorder. From 1989 to 1995, he directed a medical social work department in a 450-bed tertiary care regional medical center with pediatric, neonatal, cardiology, oncology, and psychiatric social workers. From 1995 to 2007, he worked as a consultant and was in private practice. Jordan is currently an assistant professor in the school of social work at Abilene Christian University where he teaches psychopathology and directs field education.
