Elaine Gerald—Panelist

Elaine Gerald currently serves as an assistant dean and director of admissions at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. Dean Gerald has taught in the area of addiction, served as faculty advisor, integrative seminar instructor, and field lab seminar instructor. Elaine’s first position at Fordham was as their career development coordinator. Her experience with career work began at New York University where she ran career change workshops in their school of continuing education. Later, Gerald worked with recovering addicts on rebuilding work opportunities. She joined our panel as a social work administrator, teacher, and career counselor.
