Anne Slonim Rafal—Panelist
Texas Department of Aging and Disability
Anne Slonim Rafal has her doctorate and LCSW and is a program specialist in the area of policy support and analysis for the Texas Department of Aging and Disability. In this position, she writes papers and briefs to capture aging and disability trends and is working on the development of an Aging Texas Well Clearinghouse. Anne has quality assurance experience with the State of Texas and provided medical social work, research, and teaching at the University of Virginia Medical Center, program management for Runaway and Emergency Service, and directed a Counseling Center and a supervised visitation program. She has taught at two universities and has worked in the areas of grant development and clinical supervision.
