Barbara Rittner—Moderator

Barbara Rittner is an associate professor at the University at Buffalo and is the current chair of the Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education (GADE), an international organization for doctoral program directors. She spent 20 years as a community-based social worker and administrator in child welfare and mental health settings. Rittner publishes primarily on child welfare services and group work. She is licensed in the state of Georgia as a clinical social worker. Since completing her doctorate, she has been on faculty at the University of Nevada-Reno, the University of Georgia, and the University at Buffalo where she is the associate dean for external affairs and director of the PhD program.
