Patrick Galloway, consulting services vice president at Galloway Research, has more than 30 years of qualitative and quantitative research experience—focus group moderation, research design, data collection, and analysis. Galloway offers an interdisciplinary perspective of how a social work degree could be valuable in the opinion and marketing research business. He has managed projects for Del Mar College, University of Santa Barbara, University of Houston–Victoria, and the University of Memphis Music Department along with curriculum assessment studies for private elementary schools. Galloway has conducted a state-wide tracking study among Medicaid recipients for the Texas State Government and a survey of multiple sclerosis patients and their caregivers through Texas. He has also measured public opinions regarding food bank operations in Central Texas and community challenges for the United Way, in partnership with the San Antonio Department of Community Initiatives.
