Linda Brandmiller—Panelist
Catholic Charities Archdiocese of San Antonio
As the Director of Immigration Services for Catholic Charities Archdiocese of San Antonio, the largest nonprofit, faith-based agency in the seventh largest city of the country, Linda Brandmiller and her staff work tirelessly to assist the low-income immigrant- with a special emphasis on those who have been victims of crime, domestic violence and human trafficking. Brandmiller brought a valuable perspective to the panel regarding just how appreciated trained international social workers are along the Mexico boarder, both among social workers and professionals of other fields. She earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law after a long career in the nonprofit community health center environment. Brandmiller has been a presenter at numerous local, state, national and international conferences and meetings and has a passion for the topic of immigration and its impact on the individual, family, community and the world. In her spare time, Brandmiller teaches law at the University of the Incarnate Word and coaches students for the Texas Bar exam.
