CSWE featured this new Finding a Job session led by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), the entity that oversees social work licensure in the United States. CSWE received numerous requests for a tutorial on social work licensure processes and the exams and brought the subject matter experts to students at this session. No question about social work licensure was off limits—whether general or about a particular state’s licensing policies and processes!
Representatives from ASWB’s national headquarters and Texas State Licensing Board served as the panel, providing a brief overview on the topic and then spending the majority of the time answering questions from the audience.
