About

The 55th Annual Program Meeting was just steps away from the famous Riverwalk’s colorful pathway of restaurants, shopping, live performances, and more. The conference theme, Bridging Rights, Culture, and Justice: Social Work as a Change Agent, was selected as a reminder that change is consistent with our profession’s heritage and requires unwavering dedication to human dignity and human rights. The 2009 APM featured many opportunities to reinforce the profession's talents and commitment to justice. The 2009 APM also served as a vehicle for change through engaging in public policy, promoting our cultural awareness, and advancing key areas of research.

Presentation Archives Web Site

This year, CSWE’s APM archives have been converted from a CD-ROM to a user-friendly Web site, 2009apmarchives.cswe.org, to be more accessible to our attendees. If you attended the 2009 APM, consult the postcard in your tote bag for user name and password information to search by Track, author, or keyword. Many presenters have also uploaded accompanying resources. Simply log on using the information for resources on fulfilling your own goals in academia and practice.
