Career Center Programming

The CSWE Career Center, located in the center of the exhibit hall, is offering eight sessions on October 15–16 in the following two formats.

Finding a Job Panels

These 75-minute informal question and answer sessions give social work students of all degree levels the opportunity to participate in discussion forums at any stage of the job hunt process. These panels allow students to complement lessons learned at APM peer-reviewed sessions. After a brief introduction, students will be free to ask panelists any question related to that session’s topic. Panelists will answer based on personal experience with general guidance from the session moderator.

Writing Workshops

The CSWE Career Center offers CV, résumé, and research statement writing workshops to assist with the paperwork of the job application process. Learn how to obtain a tenured faculty position, showcase your research and its importance, or translate academic experiential learning into eye-catching practical qualifications. Or, attend any combination of these writing workshops to meet your current or future job search needs!
