Medical Teams International Service Project

Since the January 12, 2010, earthquake in Haiti, Medical Teams International has sent 18 medical teams with more than 100 doctors, nurses, and other health professionals. They have shipped more than $5 million worth of donated supplies and medicines, and provided medical services and medical supplies to more than 186,000 people. APM attendees who visited their booth in the Exhibit Hall learned more about their disaster relief work.

    • 2:30pm– 3:30 pm Psychosocial Work in Disaster Relief
      Saturday, October 16
    • 10:30 am–11:30 am Providing Disaster Relief in Haiti and All Over the World
  • Attendees learned about their Play Therapy Kits
  • They helped assemble activity books for their volunteers to use in their work
