A Field Directors Development Institute (FDDI) is a preconference workshop in which individuals with field education expertise share information for the purpose of enhancing knowledge and skills of field directors as well as faculty involved in field education. There are two FDDIs to be scheduled: one session is for new field directors/new field faculty and the second session is for experienced field directors/field faculty. FDDI proposals should address one of the two targeted audiences.
