Candidacy–2015 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards

Programs applying for candidacy in 2016 and beyond use the 2015 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS) for their benchmark documents.

2015 EPAS and Glossary

The 2015 EPAS and Glossary describes four features of an integrated curriculum design: (1) program mission and goals, (2) explicit curriculum, (3) implicit curriculum, and (4) assessment.

Benchmark Grid

Benchmark Grid—application submitted 6/1/17 or later (2015 EPAS)
This grid identifies which standards are compliance or draft at each stage of the candidacy process.  This grid should be used by all programs who submitted Candidacy Eligibility Applications on June 1, 2017, or later.

Forms

Assessment Reporting Form—Baccalaureate (2015 EPAS)
Programs use this form (AS4 B) to report student learning outcomes in their self-study. Programs are required to post this form on their websites, updating the form at least every 2 years.

Assessment Reporting Form—Master’s (2015 EPAS)
Programs use this form (AS4 M) to report student learning outcomes in their self-study. Programs are required to post this form on their websites, updating the form at least every 2 years. 

Budget Form (2015 EPAS)
This form is used to evaluate a program's compliance with Accreditation Standard 3.4.1 during its review for reaffirmation of accreditation.

Faculty Data Form (2015 EPAS)
This form provides supporting documentation and formatting guidance for CVs to be included in the self-study for AS3.2.1,  AS 3.2.2, AS B3.2.4, and AS M3.2.4.  To be completed for all faculty members teaching in the program in the current academic year.

Faculty Summary Form (2015 EPAS)
This form provides supporting documentation for AS 3.2.1, AS 3.2.2, AS B3.2.4, and AS M3.2.4.  To be completed for all faculty members teaching in the program in the current academic year.

Librarian’s Report Form (2015 EPAS)
This report is used to evaluate the program's compliance with AS 3.4.4.
