CSWE and the Center for Diversity and Social & Economic Justice are involved in educational initiatives related to the Grand Challenges for Social Work, a groundbreaking initiative to champion social progress and work toward solving our nation’s toughest social problems. The 12 Grand Challenges for Social Work promote social innovation to address serious, interrelated, and large-scale challenges—violence, substance abuse, environmental degradation, injustice, isolation, and inequality. Extensive resources for social work education integration of diversity and social justice issues are available.
