Anne Farina

Third Year Fellow

Anne Farina is a student in the social work doctoral program at Saint Louis University in Missouri. She completed a bachelor of science degree and a master’s of social work degree at Saint Louis University. Ms. Farina currently works as an adjunct faculty member at Washington University in Saint Louis. She has worked in a variety of settings developing mental health programming and providing direct practice services such as the implementation of youth programming for refugee and immigrant children. Ms. Farina’s area of behavioral health research/service interest centers on trauma and attachment issues related to abuse and neglect, refugee and immigrant mental health, and interventions that facilitate brain development. After doctoral degree completion she would like to combine teaching at the university level and work in the community providing training, consultation, and direct practice to nonprofit organizations. Ms. Farina is licensed in the state of Missouri as a clinical social worker.
