Recovery to Practice: Developing Mental Health Recovery in Social Work

In March 2011 CSWE completed its situational analysis of mental health recovery in social work education and practice, Recovery to Practice: Developing Mental Health Recovery in Social Work. The final report explores the unique contextual conditions for the social work profession, including aspects such as consumer participation, culturally competent practice, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practice. It also defines the target audience for the curriculum development phase in year two of the project and discusses opportunities and challenges for integrating recovery in social work.
