CSWE recently collaborated with Marazul Charters; KAKI; the Council on Global Learning, Research, and Practice; and the Global Commission to host a faculty development trip to Havana, Cuba.

The CSWE Commission on Global Social Work Education would like to take the opportunity to highlight the importance of the Global Agenda for Social Work and Social Development, which was launched in 2010 and developed collaboratively among the International Association of Schools of Social Work, the International Federation of Social Workers, and the International Council on Social Welfare at the Joint World Conference in Hong Kong.

Congratulations to the 2014 awardees of the Ashley Brooks-Danso Memorial Fund's Student Travel Scholarships! Charlie Bouverette, Kathryn Fox, and Olaide Wolfe will receive $500 to assist with travel expenses and complimentary registration to attend the CSWE 2014 Annual Program Meeting (APM) in Tampa, FL from October 23–26, 2014.
