Two students enrolled at accredited social work programs were appointed to CSWE’s Board of Directors on November 15.

CSWE announced today that Darla Spence Coffey, PhD, MSW, will retire from the organization after what will be a 10-year tenure as president and CEO in December 2022.

More than 1,400 attendees attended the 67th APM, which featured more than 600 education sessions that touched on a range of topics including social justice, addictions, disability issues, and social welfare policy and policy practice.

Since March 2020 ASWB, NASW, and CSWE have come together to share resources in Social Work Responds. These newsletters have allowed us to address challenges posed by the pandemic like adjusting to telesocialwork, testing delays, or teaching social work in a virtual environment. To continue to serve social workers, educators, and regulators everywhere, we are asking for your participation in a feedback survey.

CSWE is now accepting feedback on the second draft of the 2022 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS). Providing feedback at this stage is imperative; this will be the last public comment period for the 2022 EPAS.
