The CSWE Council on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression established the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) Scholarship Award in 2012. This award recognizes contributions to a greater understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and two-spirit populations through innovative teaching, administration, research, and practice methods and strategies.
