3.3.9. Commission Visitor Completion of the Benchmark I Review Brief

The Benchmark I Review Brief form is a tool used to guide the program in writing a complete Benchmark I document and by the commission visitor to review the program for compliance with Benchmark I and make a recommendation to the COA. Section 2 lists each accreditation standard and related educational policy under “Approval of the Following Accreditation Standards” in Benchmark I. Section 3 lists each accreditation standard and related educational policy under “Draft of the Following Accreditation Standards” in Benchmark I. The Compliance Statement column in each section lists the related compliance statement for each accreditation standard

Next to each compliance statement in section 2, the commissioner will identify if concerns are identified in the Concerns column and provide directions in the Comments column if any concerns are identified. If concerns are identified for approval standards, the program must respond to those concerns in the program response.

The commissioner visit report is sent to accreditation staff within two weeks of the visit's conclusion. The report is forwarded by accreditation staff to the program's primary contact.
