3.4.6. Commission Visitor Completion of the Benchmark II Review Brief

The Benchmark II Review Brief form is a tool used to guide the program in writing a complete Benchmark II document and by the commission visitor to review the program for compliance with Benchmark II and to make a recommendation to the COA. Section 2 lists each accreditation standard and related educational policy under “Approval the Following Accreditation Standards” in Benchmark II. Section 3 lists each accreditation standard and related educational policy under “Draft of the Following Accreditation Standards” in Benchmark II. The Compliance Statement column in either section lists the related compliance statements for each standard.

Next to each compliance statement in section 2, the commissioner will identify if concerns are identified in the Concerns column and provide directions in the Comments column if any concerns are identified. If concerns are identified for approval standards, the program must respond to those concerns in the program response.

The commissioner visit report is sent to accreditation staff within two weeks of the visit's conclusion. The report is forwarded by accreditation staff to the program's primary contact.
