Adriana Ramirez Altamirano, BA

Program Coordinator, Centers & Initiatives

Adriana HeadshotAdriana G. Ramirez Altamirano is the program coordinator for centers and initiatives at CSWE. She supports the management and implementation of CSWE initiatives and related projects, including the Substance Use Disorders Education and Leadership Scholars (SUDEALS) and the Minority Fellowship Program (MFP). Adriana enjoys working at CSWE because she works with people from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about providing service-oriented work and hopes that her work will positively impact our communities. 

Prior to joining CSWE, Adriana was a grants associate at Arundel Community Development Services in Maryland, a bilingual youth case manager at California Human Development in California, and a seasonal agricultural worker in San Joaquin Valley. She earned her B.A. in global studies from California State University, Monterey Bay. She has studied abroad in Colombia at Universidad de La Salle and in Germany at the University of Göttingen.

Adriana was born and raised in Nayarit, Mexico, and currently resides in South Carolina. She is a proud dog mom to a beautiful Golden Retriever and loves rainy days.
