Site Visits

Purpose and Overview of the Site Visit

Every baccalaureate and master's program going through reaffirmation has a site visit. The site visit occurs after the Commission on Accreditation (COA) reviews the program’s self-study and issues a letter of instruction to the site visitor. All site visitors are expected to discuss general questions related to three standards with programs: AS 1 (program mission and goals), AS 3 (diversity), and AS 4 (assessment). Beyond these standards, those which the COA has raised specific questions will also be addressed during the site visit. For more information regarding what to expect in the site visit, click here.
