Accreditation Specialist
Tyleshia Jennings, LCSW, LISW-CP, PMH-C (she/her/hers) is an Accreditation Specialist at the Council on Social Work Education. In this role, she collaborates with other Accreditation Specialists to provide education, consultation, and resources to support Social Work programs looking to obtain and maintain accreditation. Tyleshia has been working in the Social Work field for a little over a decade between North and South Carolina and has experience in macro, mezzo, and micro practice; including but not limited to Military and Veteran Social Work, Anti-Recidivism, Perinatal Mental Health, and Advocacy.Tyleshia earned her Baccalaureate (BSW) with a minor in African American Studies and Master’s (MSW) of Social Work from Winthrop University in South Carolina. Currently, Tyleshia volunteers with Postpartum Support International (PSI) as a Group facilitator and serves as the Advocacy Chair for the South Carolina Chapter of the organization. As a licensed clinician, she works with new parents who are directly and indirectly affected by Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. When she’s not busy “being the change…”, Tyleshia enjoys musical theater, baking and cooking, and spending time with her husband, two children, and other loved ones.
