The Council on the Role and Status of Women in Social Work Education (CORSW) Student Feminist Manuscript award will be given to an accepted Annual Program Meeting (APM) proposal (paper, poster, or roundtable) that is written by a BSW and/or a MSW student as the lead author (whether written and submitted solo or as part of a team). The proposal must show that the work advances feminist knowledge and is written by a scholar who shows an understanding of and dedication to the feminisms as it pertains to social work theory, research, practice, policy, and education. 

All applications for the Feminist Scholar Award must be submitted online through the CSWE Submittable website. Applications are accepted through Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:59 PM (ET).

A complete online submission for this award includes the following attachments:

  • A letter describing the applicant’s achievements related to the award
  • Additional documentation to support achievements
  • A curriculum vita, resume, or current link to professional portal or webpage

The award will be presented at the Feminist Networking Breakfast during the APM held by CSWE. The award winner is expected to attend.
