Manager of Membership Accounts

Olga Jones joined CSWE in 2009 and currently serves as membership manager. In addition to her educational background in science, she has brought years of communication experience working as a scientific journalist and public relations practitioner in three countries on two continents. She loves her job as well as helping CSWE members. She likes implementing new IT systems that make life and work easier.

Olga was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria/EU. After graduating high school as a valedictorian, she earned baccalaureate and master’s degrees in physics. Olga has numerous certificates in areas including: scientific journalism, public relations management, investment promotions, corporate social responsibility development, brand management, and customer service.

Olga is passionate about social justice, protection of human rights and women’s right of choice in civil society, and the protection and development of democracies. Preservation of nature and sustainable development of societies all over the world are core values in her life. She has received numerous professional awards and recognitions such as the Freedom Forum Achievement Award and Fellowship, nomination for the best PR practitioner of the year, medals and plaques for excellent reporting, writing and anchoring TV shows on space research, science and technology, ecology, and sustainable development as well as on social responsibility. She has also received a recognition address/ letter from Carl Sagan and medals from various fencing competitions.

Olga considers the successful personal and excellent professional development of her two sons as the biggest achievement in her life.
