This Track discovers, examines, and describes (1) the rich and varied history of social work, social work education, and social welfare; (2) the effects of early services and polices on a problem or population group; (3) pioneers who made a difference in the profession; and (4) fresh insights on the history of women, persons of color, immigrants, or regional influences on social work practice.
