Program Membership
As of the February 2022 COA meeting, there are:
- 542 accredited baccalaureate programs
- 309 accredited master's programs
- 13 baccalaureate programs in candidacy
- 27 master's programs in candidacy
Membership Benefits
The benefits of program membership are as follows:
- Inclusion in the online Program Member Directory
- Discounted member rate on exhibiting at the Annual Program Meeting (APM)
- Discounted APM registration rates for each CSWE member affiliated with a CSWE program membership after the first CSWE full member from the program has registered (in addition to the reduced APM registration rate for individual CSWE members)
- Discounted member rate on CSWE Career Center job postings
- Subscription to CSWE Compass: Navigating Social Work Education & Advocacy, CSWE's monthly e-newsletter that includes updates on CSWE’s councils, commissions, and the APM; CSWE program member spotlights; opportunities and resources for members; and advocacy and public policy news.
- Annual subscription to the Journal of Social Work Education
Social work program membership dues are indexed on the size of the program as indicated by the number of graduates reported by the program in the past annual survey. Programs that did not report statistics on graduates will be required to pay the maximum amount for membership dues.
Categories and Dues
Program membership dues reminders are sent each March/April for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins July 1. Dues payments should be made by July 1.
