In her new role, Smith will lead and manage the business and operational planning and support services for the organization. Her duties include oversight, management, and administration related to finance, meetings and operations, as well as human resources.

Smith brings a decade of experience working in various human resources and administrative roles where she has progressively supported, contributed to, and led the implementation of enterprise-scale strategic plans.
“I am thrilled to step into this new role at CSWE,” Smith said “It’s wonderful to serve an organization that contributes so much to my community here in Alexandria and across the country. Having spent the past year working to recruit, onboard, and support CSWE employees, I’m thankful for the opportunity to lead in a new and exciting way.”
Outside of work, Tajuana enjoys being a mom to her 7-year-old son, 11-year-old daughter, and their two pups. You can often find her training at her local Burn Bootcamp, and singing at Move Church in Woodbridge, VA.
Founded in 1952, CSWE is the national association representing social work education in the United States.
